I'm Marcos Milozi, a sports photographer based in São Paulo, Brazil, and I have been working as a photographer since 2007.
My relationship with photography began with a desire to capture moments that happen in an instant but can remain forever. In sports, I found the perfect environment for that: intensity, concentration, emotion, determination, celebration, and stories that deserve to be remembered.
My work is driven by an attentive and documentary approach to sport. I look beyond the final score, searching for the moments that reveal what is happening within the competition — an athlete’s expression, the reaction of a team, the tension before a decisive play, the emotion of a victory, or a single gesture that can tell the story of an entire match.
I specialize primarily in volleyball, while also working across different sports, including ice hockey, curling, para curling, figure skating, and beach volleyball, among others.
My experience is also closely connected to photojournalism and documentary photography, which strongly influence the way I approach each assignment. I believe a sports photograph should not only be technically strong, but also authentic, contextual, and capable of communicating something beyond the action itself.
I am a member of ARFOC-SP,  the Association of Photographic and Cinematographic Reporters of São Paulo, Brazil.

My Approach
Sports photography is about being prepared for the unpredictable.
It means understanding the rhythm of a game, anticipating movement, observing the athletes, and being ready for the moment that cannot be repeated.
It means looking beyond the obvious.
It means turning a fraction of a second into a lasting memory.
For me, photographing sports is not simply about creating images. It is about telling stories through photography.
